Where is Beltania?

Beltania 2010 is held at Florence Mountain Park, just south of Florence, Colorado.

Driving Directions

From Denver:

1) Take I-25 going south into Colorado Springs.
2) Follow the directions from Colorado Springs, as shown below.

From Colorado Springs:

1) From I-25, take exit 140 for Tejon St toward CO-115 S/Nevada Ave 0.5 mi
2) Turn right at S Nevada Ave/US-85 S/US-87 S. Continue to follow US-85 S/US-87 S for 1.0 mi
3) Continue onto CO-115 S 37.0 mi
4) Turn left at CO-67 S/S Robinson Ave 4.3 mi
5) Turn right at County Rd 15
6) Stay on County Rd 15 for about 4 mi. until the road ends at Florence Mountain Park. You will see our red and white Beltania signs pointing the way once you are close!

From Pueblo:

1) Take Hwy 50 west towards Canon City.
2) Go south at Hwy 115.
3) Follow steps 4-6 above.

If you need more detailed directions, call the Beltania hotline at 303-478-8814. Please note that mobile phone service is spotty at the park and we may not get your call if we are on-site.

Gate Procedures

The roads to Beltania are well-maintained and only the last couple miles are dirt roads. They will accommodate any vehicle and should not pose any clearance problems. There is no mountain driving although the road does go uphill. County Road 15 dead-ends into Florence Mountain Park. When you enter, please stop at the Gate Booth to check in. Please plan on arriving during gate hours, otherwise we cannot guarantee entry. If you know you only can arrive after-hours, please email beltania@beltania.org by April 30 to request a late check-in.

All guests 18+ will need to:

  • Show a valid photo ID which matches the name provided when your ticket was purchased.
  • Wear a wristband. Color of the wristbands will indicate either 18+ (green) or a minor (orange)
  • Anyone entering the festival who is age 18+ will need to sign a Personal Liability Waiver before entering. To speed your entrance through the Gate, you may print it out and bring it with you, and we will have copies available at the gate. The copy on this website is identical to what you viewed when you registered using our online registration form.

Wednesday, May 5 Gate Hours

Beltania is not open to guests on this day. The first staff to begin setup are the Coordinators and Assistants. They will be arriving at 9 AM. Volunteers are encouraged to arrive between 12-1pm. Food merchants may arrive any time between 12pm - 8pm. Regular Merchants (not selling food), Performers, and other Special Guests by prior approval may enter between 4-8 PM. Please come to the Info Booth to check in and radio for a staff member if none are present at the gate.

Thursday, May 6 Gate Hours

Early Arrivals: Only merchants, performers, staff, Sweat lodge ceremony participants, and vehicles displaying handicap signs are permitted early entrance, which is 9:00 AM.

General Admission: The Gate is open for general admission starting at 12:00 Noon. Please do not arrive too early. Those arriving earlier than 12 Noon to wait for entrance or anyone blocking access may be asked to turn around and head back into town until 12 Noon.

The Gate closes promptly at 9pm. If you plan on arriving in the evening on Friday, please be sure to arrive before 9pm or you may be denied entrance. If a late arrival is unavoidable, please try to email in advance to beltania@beltania.org and there will be an after-hours bell to ring to summon a gate volunteer.

Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8 Gate Hours

The gate will be open from 8 am - 9 pm. Although checked-in guests may leave whenever necessary, we simply cannot staff the gate around the clock and we appreciate your arriving for check-in during gate hours. If a late arrival is unavoidable, please try to email in advance to beltania@beltania.org and there will be an after-hours bell to ring to summon a gate volunteer.

Sunday, May 10 Gate Hours

Gate opens at 8 AM Sunday morning. All festivities are over at 12 noon. The gate closes at 5 PM, which is the end of the Festival. All guests must leave the Festival grounds by this time. No Sunday night camping on the grounds.
